Based in New York this theater company started to work back in 1995. Taking their name from the last chapter of Kafka's unfinished novel, they work with chance operations and presence, immersing themselves into the simulacra of mass culture only to come out with truly genuine, funny, and clever reflections on everyday life.

From the outset they "set themselves up for the biggest failure" and rehearsed in their own apartments, which influenced their work a lot, their main idea being working with what's there here and now and the current conditions.

Struggling to be understood at the beginning, they took a 3-year break from theater at some point, and came back with several successful shows, which were co-produced by major European theaters (Kaai Theatre and Kampnagel).
